Got Junk NC

Terms of Service

How we quote, schedule, and haul — written the way we’d explain it standing in your driveway. If anything here is unclear, call or text (704) 443-8697 and ask before we start.

In effect since September 10, 2026.

1.Who we are

Got Junk NC is a junk removal, cleanout, and light demolition business based in Greenville, North Carolina. We work across Greenville, NC and about 45 miles in every direction — you can see the whole list on our service areas page.

Phone and text: (704) 443-8697 — same number for both. Our line is open 24 hours. If we’re on a job we’ll call you back.

We are a service-area business. We come to you; there is no yard or storefront to visit.

2.What these terms cover

These terms apply when you use this website and when we do work for you. Booking a job means you accept them. They’re the default agreement between us — if we agree something different in writing for your job, that agreement wins.

We’ve tried to write these plainly rather than in legal language. That’s deliberate, and it doesn’t make them any less real.

3.How we quote

We price by volume — how much room your things take up in the truck — at a flat rate. Not by the hour. The tiers run from a minimum pickup up to a full truckload, and they’re published on our pricing page.

A price we give you over the phone or by text is an estimate. We’re working from your description or your photos, and photos flatten a pile. It’s a good estimate — it’s how we quote most jobs — but it isn’t final until we see the load.

The final price is confirmed on site, before any work starts. We look at what’s actually going, tell you the price, and you say yes or no. If the load is bigger than it looked, we tell you then, not afterwards. Nothing goes on the truck until you’ve agreed the number.

If the job changes while we’re there — you decide the shed goes too — we’ll requote before we touch it.

Some items cost more to dispose of than others because the facility charges us more to take them. Where that applies we’ll say so as part of your price, not as a surprise at the end.

4.Scheduling and arrival

We book you an arrival window, not a whole day. Then we call or text about 15 minutes before we pull up, so you’re not sitting at home waiting on us.

Windows can move. Traffic, weather, and the job before yours running long are all real. If your window is going to slip, we’ll tell you as soon as we know rather than letting it pass in silence.

Someone over 18 should be there when we arrive, or you should have made arrangements with us in advance so we know exactly what’s going and how to get to it.

5.What we can't take

Some material is restricted by law, not by our preference. Licensed disposal facilities won’t accept it from us, and hauling it is regulated work. That includes:

  • Wet paint, solvents, thinners, and other liquid chemicals
  • Motor oil, fuel, antifreeze, and other automotive fluids
  • Propane tanks, gas cylinders, and anything else pressurised
  • Asbestos and material that may contain it
  • Medical, biohazard, or contaminated waste, including sharps
  • Pesticides, herbicides, and other hazardous garden chemicals
  • Ammunition, explosives, and flammables

This isn’t us being difficult — it’s what we’re allowed to carry and what a facility is allowed to receive.

If you’re not sure about something, ask before the appointment. Text a photo to (704) 443-8697 and we’ll tell you straight away whether we can take it, and usually where to take it if we can’t. Sorting that out beforehand is much better than finding out in your driveway.

We may decline any item on the day. If we find restricted material in a load once we’ve started, we’ll set it aside and explain why.

6.Your stuff, your say-so

By booking a job, you’re confirming that you own the items being removed, or that you have the authority to have them thrown out — as the property owner, the executor of an estate, a landlord acting lawfully, or someone the owner has authorised.

We take you at your word on this, because we have no way to check. If a dispute comes up later about whether something should have been removed, that’s on the person who told us to remove it.

Please check for valuables first. Go through drawers, pockets, boxes, and anything with a lid before we arrive. We find money, jewellery, documents, and photographs in cleanouts more often than you’d think, and once a load is gone we can’t get it back.

7.Once it's on the truck, it's gone

Removal is permanent. This is the most important thing on this page.

Once items are loaded, we treat them as discarded. Depending on what they are, they’re donated, recycled, or taken to a licensed disposal facility — usually the same day. They are not recoverable afterwards. We can’t retrieve something from a donation centre or a landfill, and we won’t be able to tell you exactly where a particular item ended up.

So check the load before the truck leaves. Walk out and look. We’d much rather wait two minutes than have you realise the next morning that something was in there.

We don’t dump illegally — not on a back road, not behind a building, not ever. Everything goes to a donation partner, a recycler, or a licensed facility.

8.Getting to the job

You’ll need to give us safe, legal access to the items and somewhere lawful to put the truck. If parking is tight, permits are needed, there’s a gate code, or an HOA or building manager has rules about loading, please sort that out before the day and tell us.

Tell us in advance about anything that changes how we work: stairs, a long carry, a soft or wet yard, a low branch, a narrow gate, a septic field, or a driveway that won’t take a loaded truck. We plan the job around it. Told on arrival, it may mean rescheduling.

We won’t do anything that looks unsafe for our crew or your property. If we get there and the job isn’t safe as described, we’ll talk through options rather than press on.

9.Damage and responsibility

We’re careful moving things through your property, and we protect doorways and floors on the way out. Even so, hauling heavy items through a house carries some risk.

If we damage something, tell us while we’re still there, or as soon as you notice. We’ll look at it with you and put it right. Reporting it straight away matters — it lets us see the damage in context.

We’re not responsible for damage that was already there, for wear that shows up once a heavy item is moved off it — dents in carpet, marks on a wall, a floor that was already failing — or for problems caused by the state of the property itself, like a rotten step or a driveway that can’t take the weight.

Where we are responsible for a job going wrong, what we owe is limited to what you paid us for that job. We’re not responsible for knock-on losses — missed work, a delayed closing, or anything similar.

Nothing here takes away rights the law gives you as a consumer in North Carolina.

10.Photos of the work

We photograph our work — before, during, and after — and we use those photos to show people what we do. Every photo on this website is a real job of ours. That’s the whole point of them.

By booking a job, you agree we may take photos of the work and use them on our website, our Google listing, and our social media.

We never publish your name, your address, or anything that identifies you or your home. No house numbers, no street signs, no mail, no documents, no faces of anyone who isn’t our crew. We photograph the stuff and the work, not you.

If you’d rather we didn’t, just say so — before or during the job, or afterwards if you change your mind. Call or text (704) 443-8697. There’s no form and no argument; we’ll skip the photos or take them down.

11.Changing or cancelling

Need to move or cancel your appointment? Call or text (704) 443-8697. We’d appreciate as much notice as you can give us, because a slot held for you is a slot someone else couldn’t book — but we understand that things come up.

If we have to move your appointment, we’ll tell you as soon as we know and get you the next window that works for you.

You can also decline the job after we arrive and give you the final price. If the number isn’t right for you, say no — that’s exactly why we confirm before we start.

12.Paying

Payment is due when the job is done, unless we’ve agreed something different with you in advance. We’ll tell you what payment methods we take when we confirm your appointment.

You pay the price we confirmed on site before starting. If the job didn’t change, neither does the number.

13.If something goes wrong

Call us. (704) 443-8697. We’re a small local crew, not a call centre — you’ll get one of the people who was actually at your house.

We’d rather hear about a problem directly and fix it than read about it later. Most things that go wrong on a job are sorted out in one phone call.

14.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, where we live and work.

15.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the business grows. The version on this page is the one in effect, and the terms that apply to your job are the ones published when you booked it.

If we change something that would affect a job already on the calendar, we’ll tell you rather than expecting you to re-read this page.

You can also read our privacy policy, which covers what happens to your information.
